John R Morris, MA (Oxon), MCIM, F.IOD

John Morris was appointed to the board in January 2007. JRM’s fifty plus
years in business, predominantly in the health industry, have given him
broad experience in all aspects of the business world. Service with large
groups such as Glaxo and Wellcome have brought not only deep insight into
multinational operations but also contacts at high level throughout the
world. This was sound preparation for the founding of his own group,
Biotrade, now established across the world. Biotrade has a network of own
companies in Australia, Singapore (for South East Asia), South Africa,
the UK and the USA. In addition to his knowledge of the pharmaceutical
world, JRM brings a considerable experience in the banking and finance
area (for several years he was Financial Director and Senior V.P. Finance
of one of the world’s largest commodity traders) and is an active
investor in the main European and US stock exchanges.

During the last 15 years he has become heavily involved as investor and
non-executive director in the Bri tish biotech sector and related fields.
